Easy 5 Ingredient Egg White Quiche

Quiche is one of those recipes that looks intimidating to make, but it’s actually super simple,  especially when you use this recipe.

The combination of ham, mozzarella and arugula works so well and is a satisfying breakfast or brunch. The beauty of quiche is that you can easily prepare it in advance!

Our Organic 100% Liquid Egg White makes this recipe simple to throw together! Egg whites are a great source of lean protein and bake perfectly in this quiche.

What you need for egg white quiche

  • 1 uncooked pie crust (if frozen defrost it prior to baking)

  • 1 cup ham, diced

  • ½ cup mozzarella, shredded

  • 1 cup arugula, chopped

  • 1.5 cups Organic 100% Liquid Egg Whites

  • ½ tsp sea salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

How to make quiche at home

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Place the pie crust in a pie pan and par bake for 6 minutes (or half the recommended full bake time for the pie crust).

  2. Once the pie crust is out of the oven add the ham, cheese and arugula. Mix the egg whites with salt and pepper and pour over the filling.

  3. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Bake for 40-50 minutes until the eggs are set and the crust is browned. Cool slightly and enjoy!

How to store

Quiche stores incredibly well and is a recipe that’s perfect to prep in advance!

Once cooked and cooled to room temperature, cover the quiche fully and store in the fridge for up to 7 days.

To reheat quiche, place the entire quiche or individual pieces in a 300 degree F oven until warmed through.
