Easy Fried Egg Burgers

The perfect burger needs the perfect fried egg - drippy and delicious. Start by making the most flavorful burger mixture, cook up your patties, and then finish your burgers off with fried eggs from happy hens!

Our Humane Harvest eggs come from hens raised in free-roaming environments and fed a pure vegetarian diet consisting of premium grains, seeds & meal.

Foolproof fried eggs

You’ll want to start with a good non-stick skillet. This ensures easy egg flipping and less broken yolks.

Heat your skillet over medium heat, and when hot add a little oil. Crack your eggs into individual bowls, and pour them into the pan.

Depending on the size of your pan, you may need to cook in batches. After pouring the egg into the skillet, watch as the egg white begins to cook.

Once the outer edges look cooked through, after 2-3 minutes, gently and with confidence, flip the egg and let it cook for 1-2 more minutes, to set the white but not to cook the egg yolk. Season with a little salt and repeat as needed!

What you need for fried egg burgers

Can you pre cook fried eggs?

Yes, you absolutely can cook your fried eggs in advance! If you’re cooking for a crowd, or simply like having fried eggs on hand ready to enjoy, here’s what to do:

Cook as many fried eggs as you’d like, then place on a sheet pan and in a warm oven around 200 degrees F. Keep them in the oven warmer until you're ready to enjoy them.

Any leftover fried eggs can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5-7 days.
